Superhero Returns

Working on a sequel to the "Superhero" render ^_^ Just finished building the set, getting to work on placing the characters. I think tt's going to turn out even more epic than the original pic :) This time the giant Superhero is going to battle giant ants!

On a side note, I also finished the simple pic made for Halloween, will post it on Oct. 31.

Here it is!

One hundredth

Putting finishing touches on the special render celebrating the 100th deviation posted on DA. Of course, that would not be my 100th pic ever, but DA has been my main gallery for two years already :) I decided to show some of my early characters celebrating the event together - characters from the most popular, most favorited, most viewed pics, and so on. This is also going to be the pic with the most amount of characters.

I've had this scene started some time ago, but only recently I got around to finish it. Meet Timmy, who is unfortunate enough to slowly shrink out of his clothes in front of some of his classmates.

I was playing with the lighting setups in Daz/Reality/Lux combo and decided to do this little pic - a simple mugshot of a male character.

Huz writes awesome GT stories. That shouldn't surprise anyone :) So I decided to create an illustration to one of his recent works, a sequel to the "Patrick's Tale" story. I took some liberties in depicting Patrick - he should have a wound in his left shoulder that I omitted.

"He was cut off when he gasped as she tossed him through the air. He cried out fearfully, but he landed safely on her pillow, face-up. Before he could move, the bed was bouncing up and down beneath him and she was crawling across the mattress toward him. She pounded roughly on her mp3 player until an upbeat, pop rock song was blaring, then cranked up the volume on the speakers. She lowered her chest on top of him, smothering his entire body with her pajama-clad breasts. She rubbed her chest against his body, grinding the soft, firm flesh against him. His teenage loins felt like they were on fire and his pulse beat out of control. She rolled her breasts down enough for his head to pop out and he gasped for air.'See?' she said down to him with a devious grin. 'Bet you already forgot what you were asking me, didn’t you?'"

Peter and the Tiny Boys

I discussed a story concept with macrossmecha over at DA featuring modernized Peter Pan playing with some tiny boys. So here's a simple render based on this idea.

Homework

This pic was a pain to create. At first I was stupid enough to position the camera in the wrong place - its lens got obscured by something and I wasted several hours of rendering process before noticing the flaw. Then I had to rebuild the set to get the "light pouring through the window" effect instead of artificial interior lighting.

The result is still not too good - something went wrong again and I had to filter out tons of grain which left some visible flaws in the final image.

Schoolbus - WIP

Another render featuring a schoolbus, this time much less naughty. This was inspired by one of recent GiantToby's drawings. The lighting could use some work and I broke some textures while exporting the scene, so this is going to the scrapbook for now.

Honey, I Blew Up The Kid - work in progress

I uploaded this to DA's scraps, might as well upload it here. It's a test render of a scene I started some time ago and won't be able to finish in a while since my hardware cannot handle the amount of props and characters I plan to use here.

So enjoy a deserted street with no traffic and no pedestrians while our heroes rush to shrink the kid back to normal height :)

Sandwiched

Someone suggested I should do an "unaware giant and some tinies" type of scene. So I came up with a pic that was inspired by the classic "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" film.

Pixar or Dreamworks?

I did a couple of renders with these two characters a long time ago. This one is supposed to be a sort of an argument between the Pixar fans and the Dreamworks fans. The little guy likes Dreamworks (gasp!) despite the fact that Pixar is the best!
